Redstone (formerly Barclays Holdings)

In March 2007, Englefield agreed to purchase a 40% shareholding in Barclays Holdings LLC, now renamed as Redstone Holdings LLC, a real estate investor, manager and developer currently active in Bulgaria and Ukraine. The Executive Chairman of Barclays is Shalom Shpilman with whom we successfully invested in TBIH, the Central European financial services business which we sold last year. Since that time Shalom has stepped down from his role as Executive Chairman of TBIH in order to develop Redstone.

Since the initial investment we have increased our shareholding to 50% following continued development of the Redstone portfolio of assets and development projects.
